New Name Reflects Capabilities
The growth and development we have experienced throughout our 30+ years in business influenced our decision to adopt RestoreWorks as our company name. In selecting RestoreWorks, we were conscious of choosing a name that communicates our passion for restoring and preserving architecture so that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
Acquiring Eugene Matthews
In 2022, we had the opportunity to acquire the assets of Eugene Matthews, Inc., a long-time client of RestoreWorks. As the Eugene Matthews founders moved toward retirement, they sought a suitor who was familiar with their business, clients, and could provide a consistently high level of service. We are honored to take on this responsibility.

Our Team
I have always been intrigued with history. Restoration gives me the opportunity to observe how old buildings and structures were built and play a part in preservation so others in future generations can enjoy them as well.
I have been owner and president of RestoreWorks since 1988 and have had the opportunity to work on hundreds of important buildings and structures including Tribune Towers, Wrigley Building, The Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago’s Navy Pier, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu Hawaii.
Education:
- MBA from Indiana University
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Calvin University
Favorite Hobby: Fishing
Fun Fact: I ride my bicycle 3-4 thousand miles per year.
Brad has an extensive background and experience in remediation and restoration of both historic and modern buildings.
He is involved in estimating, project management and evaluation of building deficiencies and repair specifications. He works with clients to implement and manage building envelope repair efforts from start to finish. This includes regular project site visits and communications with clients, engineers, architects, suppliers and the RestoreWorks masonry restoration team.
His goal is to maintain the building’s original appearance while fixing and addressing the cause of damage using traditional repair methods and the latest restoration technologies. With excellent organizational skills and a broad knowledge of the masonry restoration industry, he has evaluated, estimated, and managed over 1,500 projects.
Brad received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Christian has been with RestoreWorks since 2013, spending the first 7 years of his career in the field before transitioning into this current role in 2021.
Prior to joining RestoreWorks, Christian proudly served in the US Air Force for six years and completed coursework at Georgia Tech.
