Gentle cleaning process restores luster of iconic Chicago building.

After years of uncertainty, the historic building was saved in 2012 and transformed into a luxury hotel (now known simply as the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel) that is high on both design and amenities. As part of that transformation, RestoreWorks restoratively cleaned the ornate limestone and brick facades.

Every inch of the dirty limestone was misted and hand scrubbed with soft brushes to gently remove one hundred-plus years of dirt, carbon, and other contaminants.
